Texas born Artist Matthew Thornburg has for more than 50 years refined his self taught art skill in the medias of oil, watercolor, pastel, charcoal, and of late computer generated compositions. His work in realism has been displayed in galleries in Fort Worth, the Gunnison/Crested Butte, Colorado, area, and can also be seen on art websites. Matt's art encompasses western, wildlife, portraits, murals, landscapes and the changing agrarian western scene. He considers each work personal and a gift to his fans and clients. Matt has been called a Renaissance Man because he is also a Musician, playing guitar and bass, composing his own music; also a carpenter, tile layer, re- modeler, working in the building trades to supplement his art. He is an organic gardener, animal lover, and outdoors-man. He does whatever it takes for an Artist to survive in the 21st century!
